I’m Deborah Carew, artisan and owner of Green Raven Art. I live and work in beautiful Kawartha Lakes, Ontario, Canada.
I have been fortunate to be involved in the arts most of my working life beginning at an early age. I enjoy a variety of media including paint, dry media, digital, and especially textiles.
I have a special love of vintage design, but can add a modern flair, too. My interests lean towards natural surroundings, so florals and leaves are often part of my designs. I use only fine materials and techniques in all of my work with an eye to heirloom quality life.
As an admirer of William Morris, Victorian era designer, I am guided by his philosophy:
”Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
If you have questions or comments, please get in touch, and I will help in any way I can. Looking forward to hearing from you!
